Hello My Friend,
"When you are still polite, you are in control.
When you lose control, you are the loser, the victim."
A great sage said this and these words are so true. In this beautiful world there is the appearance of so called competition, egos etc involved and sometimes when WE get caught up in this, it can affect our lives negatively. We may become bitter and disempowering to other individuals. WE CAN uplift even the most bitter of people if we are simply polite even if they are not.
Treating our business or career as competition always seems to set up fear and this is simply NOT the truth as there is plenty to go around for everyone. When we become fearful this then sets up a cycle of perhaps at first complaining a little and next to where we begin to actually look for things we don't like instead of what we do like.
Remember if you complain you are simply scared or in fear. Remember what we said in previous newsletters and on our teleconference calls. FEAR is simply FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL.
When we complain it is ALWAYS something else in our past that has triggered us unconsciously, it is NEVER the thing we think are complaining about which is why fighting with others will never do anything but drain our self esteem and make US the eventual victim. A victim is someone who always blames everyone else for their lot in life and will not take responsibility for their own lives. This person always thinks everyone else who gets success before them or more than them is just lucky OR better looking etc….they may then start rumors and gossip about this person.
When we WAKE UP and take responsibly and stop complaining and our lives will change so dramatically it will seem like a huge light has come on and then we will be accused of being the so called lucky one by others.
Whenever we hear someone gossip about someone else DO NOT LISTEN as it is none of our business. Do not gossip, say something great about someone NEVER something negative, as it will only fall back on you in the end. When we come from a place of looking for the good the good is what we will experience. There are no victims in life unless WE allow ourselves to become one. It is all about perception and sometimes our perception of our world is not even our own, in other words it is what has been programmed into us from OTHER people opinions. When we come from a place of gratitude and looking for the positive and the solutions in life we learn, we grow and we attract more and more good and happy, success filled experiences.
We NEVER really know what is going on in someone else's life. If someone is rude to us or seems to brush us off our first reaction may be to become reactive instead of acting with love and reason. We become reactive because we are letting ourselves feel less then and this is all about how we feel about who we are right now. It is OUR lack of self esteem that causes us to react. The more negative ego someone shows we know the more they actually dislike themselves. Loving oneself IS NOT EGO it is actually the opposite.
When we come from a place of being polite and not losing control to our reactive natures beautiful things begin to occur in our lives and into the lives of others. I hear from so many actors and musicians who feel rejected when say a casting director or someone we are working with is not polite to us. Perhaps they are simply going through something that we do not know about. I will give you a perfect example of this happening in my own life recently.
I was feeling as if someone I was working with was not doing all they said they would do and we had paid this company money to get these things done. I began writing an e-mail to him asking why had they not done so and so and sounded like I was really complaining etc… It was not a professional uplifting e-mail. I was tired that day and it wasn't the way I would normally handle something. I then e-mailed another letter to him within 30 seconds as I realized WOW!! I am not practicing what I preach I must make amends or I may cause damage to our working relationship. I did so and asked him to forgive my last e-mail and told him I was very sorry for my e-mail being a bit short with him as I said well I am only 5 foot after all (Humor always helps) and that I DO believe in him and his company which is why I originally hired them and that I knew they would indeed do the best they could do.
He E-mailed me straight back and he said he appreciated my e-mail so much as he was sorry they had not done all they had wanted to for us however he had recently been in a car accident and had broken his ribs and was in a lot of pain and had not wanted to sound unprofessional by letting me know his troubles. So now I have a great feeling between us and I know that what could have turned out to be disempowering was in fact turned around to be empowering and I know he will do better work for us because otherwise everytime he went to do something it would still have the sting of that negative e-mail now it is the positive because we came from heart to heart together. So remember business is NOT just business if it involves another human being who has feelings and a heart.
Who ever said business is just Business NEXT!! We are all beautiful individual human beings with hearts, feelings and emotions and when WE come from a place at the very least of being polite to others we will have more empowerment in our lives. It IS empowering to be nice and the opposite is true when we come from judgment and negativity. When we drain others WE may for a VERY short time feel empowered and in control however later WE WILL become the victim and bit by bit hate our world and ourselves and blame every body else. Even if we find success this sort of attitude in life will make us unhappy people and only those who need us for money or work will want to be around us.
A great affirmation to say to help is …….
" I am responsible for my own life, my feelings and for every result I get. Today I am lovely to everyone and polite because it empowers my soul to empower others."
