Hello my friend,
This week I am going to speak about the Power of Spirit and releasing the ego.
I know we all desire to have fuller, happier, wealthier more spiritually fulfilling lives. What stops us from doing so, sometimes. The answer is our small self! Our small self sometimes labeled as ego. So what is the ego?
Well, to me the ego is a collection of all the things in our subconscious mind that has a sense memory of what our bodies found pleasurable or what felt good to our physical senses. Sight, hearing, taste, touch, sound. Not the thing that help our soul feel good but simply our physical senses. The ego (Memories of what felt good to our senses) has a nasty habit to bring up the memories of these so called pleasurable physical senses experiences whenever we start taking action on our positive goals and things that will help us have more successful lives especially if what we are doing is feeding the mind/spist and not the physical senses. That small little self (ego) starts to do its little dance and talk us into doing something else that will just feel good temporarily.
This my friend is one of the major thing that happens and can be one of the biggest blocks to our true success and true soul fulfillment.
Well, how do we release this ego or subconscious conditioning? We HAVE to do our very best to not go for the things in life that are temporary fixes and replace these fixes with spiritual positive thoughts and feelings that will last forever.
A great example was given to me today by my good friend Dr Lawrence T. Bond. He said "Imagine eating your very favorite ice cream. The first scoop will be delicious, fantastic, then the next scoop will be only good and then after that it will just be ice cream."
You see this is how it is in life when we focus too much on our physical senses. We may stay in a bad relationship for too long simply because we once felt it was good or the passion felt good etc. We are doing our best to replay and experience those same good feelings in a situation or relationship that just is no longer supporting us simply because we are unconsciously wanting to replay what once felt good. We have to NEXT these things as best we can and replace them with healthy thoughts and worthy, creative pursuits, healthy supportive ware relationships and goals that will not only empower us and help us become more successful but will also last and build up our spiritual bank account.
We can then call upon this power that is in our spiritual bank account when challenges do show up and have the Power of Spirit to find solutions and move forward in life. Otherwise we will drop backwards and do anything we can to fill up our senses to block what it is we don't like right then. We do this through overeating, watching too much mindless TV, staying in life sucking relationships etc.
Now do not get me wrong I like to watch TV and eat ice cream occasionally etc but I do my very best to do these things only when I know it is not to block some action I must be taking or some challenge I mist find a solution to. Otherwise we live in denial and our life quite frankly with suck, Big Time :)
When that little voice (ego) says, "OK you have worked hard enough today let that all go and watch some TV, etc., say NEXT. DO NOT LET THAT VOICE TO RUN YOUR LIFE. YOU ARE IN CHARGE. Yes, we are in charge of our own thoughts.
Do all you can to feed your mind/spirit with positive thoughts, great positive music, great positive TV or films, great supportive relationships, books, go to classes, seminars learn a new language. Do whatever you can to grow upwards and forwards. No more backwards or using the stairs lets all take the elevator UP!!
Let us fill our lives up with worthy ideals, great positive supportive relationships, good food and the best food, there is food for your mind. We can all achieve all we desire as long as we go that extra mile each day that others cut off when the
5 o'clock bell rings.
Living this way we will have something to take with us forever more that is indescribable more beautiful and worthy then words can express. We will be able to sit back when we are finished with our physical experience and say. " I love the way I lived my life. I went for it in my life, I took risks, I took action on my dreams even when the appearance was challenging, I took action even when I was scared. I did it scared and came through to be a confident aware beautiful person. A soul God can be proud of. I did not waste my life I LIVED MY LIFE." We can say that now each day when we begin to really live.
Rock Riddle a wonderful person who runs APS Entertainment in Hollywood and I have just about completed writing a truly amazing new book for the entertainment industry Titled "How To Become A Magnet To Hollywood Success, " and it includes interviews we have done with just the most successful amazing actors, directors and producers and celebrities in the industry and one theme that has run through for each of these amazing people and their story is the same. They found what it is they wanted to do with their lives and went for it. When callings came up or people stopped believing in them (sometimes even their own families and close friends) they did NOT EVER STOP they kept on going and did it scared with Faith that somehow if they kept at it and stayed focused on their big vision it would all work out it did for each of these amazing people we have been honored to interview.

Take action on your dreams and IF you do not have a dream as yet simply ask God for one. Be still and say
"Dear God, thank you so much for guiding me to do what it is I will love to do. Thank you for gifting me with the awareness to recognize opportunities and your guidance when they show up. Thank you for giving me a dream that will give me true fulfillment, wealth and will be helping others."
Keep affirming this pray everyday and the answer my friend WILL come to you. Yes, it will and when it does the ego may do its best to stop you so be ready to NEXT that small silly voice. When it does show up say to it "NEXT go away I do not need you anymore. Today I am going for it in my life. I am now living my life doing what I want to do. No more wasting my life. NOW I am going to really live it. "
